🌾 Guangxi, with its unique geographical conditions, boasts vast and spectacular terraces. Every year, before the rice harvest in September and October, it attracts a large number of tourists. It's a seasonal highlight you definitely don't want to miss ❤️

🌾 The terraces are located in mountainous areas and are relatively difficult to reach. Generally, you can take a high-speed train to Guilin Station and then transfer by bus or car. This time, we visited the Hongyao Village, which is inhabited by the Yao ethnic group. Nearby, you can also visit the Ping'an Zhuang Village.

🌾 Due to changes in economic conditions or government encouragement, many minority villages in the mainland are mostly uninhabited except for the elderly. However, Hongyao Village still has many real residents and several homestays where you can spend the night.

🌾 In the evening, take a leisurely walk from the foot of the mountain to the mountainside, snapping some beautiful photos along the way. Enjoy a delicious local meal for dinner, make rice cakes with the homestay hostess in the evening breeze, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It's simply perfect ❤️
