✨The day before, I suddenly had the urge to try a different city for a city walk 🚶♀️ and went on a spontaneous trip with my sisters 👭
🌟Xi'an➡️Guangyuan: 🚄Two hours by high-speed rail (💰152 one-way), the entire journey takes just over two hours
🌟Weather: Highs in the 20s (a thin jacket and short-sleeved shirt are fine 🉑)
🌟Hotels🏨: Recommended: James Joyce Café in the Old Town (great value, clean) or Magnolia Hotel (💰166 with breakfast for two). Not noisy
🌟Coffee at the market: Snap a drink, great value, whatever you want 🚲
🌟Cold noodles: Mingjun Cold Noodles, Kankan Cold Noodles, Sun Cold Noodles (I recommend the small portion + a bowl of porridge, 4💰). The prices are amazing.
🌟Highly recommend: Baozimenwei's delicious frog and fish head. Delicious, 55💰 per person, and snacks are free.
🌟Hotpot: Hu Hanhan Hotpot, Yaya Hotpot, Han Ji Hotpot (50 💰 per person). I had Yaya's and it was delicious. I definitely order the crispy pork! 👍
🌟Spicy Skewers: Reunion Place (formerly Old Jiange Spicy Skewers)
🌟Xiulian Hu Mama: (I recommend the fruit jelly) There are so many chain restaurants, and they're all great! I ate there two days in a row! 🥳
🌟Xiao Tang Walnut Cake: A must-try! Eat one while it's hot and bring it back as a souvenir.
🌟Sichuan Cuisine: Huiwazi Tujia Cuisine Highly recommend the steamed pork ribs with rice flour. Rice is 2 yuan per person (the firewood rice is delicious and comes in two varieties: green beans and sauerkraut). I was originally planning to try the small bowls, but the locals said they were closed. Across from this Sichuan restaurant is the internet-famous Hu Hanhan Hotpot.
🌟Day 1: Arrived in Guangyuan by high-speed train at 12:00 PM. First, I had cold noodles and Xiao Tang walnut cakes. Back at the hotel, I put my luggage away. 🧳 Then I went to Thousand Buddha Cliff (high-speed rail tickets are discounted to 35 yuan per person). It's not big, so I finished exploring it in half an hour. We then went to the Phoenix Tower (5 yuan per person, you have to climb to the top floor). The photos were fantastic, and we had hot pot. Around 7:00 AM, we strolled along the Jialing River and enjoyed some spicy food. (You can take a boat at the end, 30 yuan per person.) The night view was beautiful, and I felt the Sichuanese people's relaxed nature. Finally, we had some spicy skewers. Spicy lovers can order a portion of dry ingredients. Afterward, we also bought ice jelly. Be sure to look for Xiulian Hu Mama.
🌟Day 2: 10 AM high-speed train🚄 to Jianmen Pass (15 yuan). There's a No. 7 bus directly to the scenic area right after exiting the high-speed train. The ticket price is 6 yuan per person. (This bus has a roller coaster-like thrill.) (Exciting) ⛰️ Jianmen Pass: Reciting "The Difficult Road to Shu" gets you free admission, so go for it! I hadn't memorized it, so I bought a 75 yuan ticket. I took two cable cars up the mountain (80 yuan each) and walked down 🚶, which took three hours. The scenery was stunning. I also took a thrilling cable car ride and sampled dried tofu for 2 yuan a string 🙂
Outside the scenic area, there are delicious tofu banquets and firewood chicken: tofu balls, pregnant tofu, tofu soup, etc. You can also try the local firewood chicken, which is available near the scenic area and is very good. Finally, I took the high-speed train 🚄 back to Xi'an at 7 PM. Guangyuan offers a relaxing, slow-paced experience, perfect for relaxation 😎 If there's anything else I haven't mentioned, please feel free to add it. 👏
