"St. Dominic's Church" was built in 1587 by three Spanish Dominican friars from Acapulco, Mexico. It is a bright yellow church. Inside, the Virgin Mary of the Rosary is enshrined. It is said that the first Portuguese newspaper in China was published here on September 12, 1822.
