🍁🍂 Autumn in Kamikochi is so beautiful!!!

🚗 For those who are visiting Nagano, Takayama, Matsumoto, I recommend you to go for a romantic hiking trail in Kamikochi. Because Kamikochi is a valley located in the middle of Matsumoto and Takayama, you can travel there on a day trip from both cities.

🗓️ The trail is open for walking only from mid-April to mid-November. During winter, it is closed due to the danger of heavy snow. If you are going, please check the park's opening and closing days on the official website.

🚌 How to get there
We took a bus from Takayama.
- You can buy tickets at Nohi bus next to Takayama train station. The fare is ¥5,130/person/way and it takes about 1.5 hours (this route requires you to change buses halfway at Hirayu Onzen station).
- It is recommended to come early in the morning and get off at Taisho Pond (K-29 Taisho Pond), which is the first stop in Kamikochi. Then walk and enjoy the view until you reach Kappa Bridge and Myojin Pond.

🚗 They have a policy of prohibiting private cars from entering the park in order to reduce pollution, protect the environment, and organize traffic. Therefore, those traveling by rented car must park their cars at Akandana parking and take the bus to get in.
