Ghibli Museum, Mitaka Forest ~ "The birthplace of films and the time when childhood takes flight"
Miyazaki Hayao’s animations surely carry the childhood memories of many, and for me, my favorite and most memorable is "Castle in the Sky"!! This time, let me take you to see the museum personally designed by Master Miyazaki Hayao❗️
⚠️ Ticket Purchase Method:
1. Fully real-name registration and advance reservation required
2. Ticket information for the next month is only released on the 10th of each month, so act fast!!
3. There are fixed admission times each day at 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 o’clock
4. You must enter at the designated time and bring your "passport" on the day❗️

~ Totoro Ticket Booth ~
The famous Totoro is surely known by all fans!! This is also a perfect spot for photos and check-ins, and you can see many adorable "soot sprites"😻, but tickets are NOT sold here🎟️~~
~ Inside the Museum ~
1. Library Reading Room "Mitaka": Sells many Japanese children’s books and art books, you can browse and purchase👍
2. Souvenir Shop "Mamma Aiuto": As the name suggests, it’s the place to turn your money into things you love~
3. Film 🎬 Exhibition Room "Saturn Theater": Plays exclusive animated shorts, each about 15 minutes long, fully animated with no dialogue, so no worries about understanding🥹, and the admission ticket is a film reel 🎞️ ticket, super cute!!
4. Special Exhibition Room: A new theme is planned every year, so every visit brings new surprises🎉
5. Totoro Bus 🚌 Playroom: A play area for children under 6 years old
~ Robot Soldier ~
Come, come!! My favorite is the famous "Castle in the Sky"!! It’s a very popular photo spot where you can see the "Laputa" stone monument, and nearby are broken robot parts. Come treasure hunting here! It’s full of surprises and memories❗️

You will definitely pass this nameplate before entering the museum. It has an antique green look and is designed with Miyazaki Hayao’s style!

A photo spot that many adults and kids won’t miss. The cute Totoro has surely been deeply rooted in everyone’s hearts, right!? Definitely!

🚴 Transportation:
1. Take the JR Chuo Line to "Mitaka Station," then walk 15 minutes or take a paid shuttle bus for 5 minutes (one way 210 yen, round trip 320 yen, timetable available)
2. Take the JR Chuo Line/Keio Inokashira Line to "Kichijoji Station," then walk 20 minutes through Inokashira Park to reach the museum
