Hidden Gem Café in Miyakojima

Let me introduce you to my absolute favorite hidden gem café that I discovered after moving to Miyakojima!

The area around the café is quite remote, with not much else nearby. The entrance feels like you’re stepping into someone’s home. However, there’s a flag and signboard outside featuring croffles, making it easy to spot 🚩. Once you step inside, you’ll find the menu, and the staff will come out to assist you as you browse.

While mango-based items like mango parfaits are only available during mango harvest season, the croffles here are absolutely divine 🤤✨. And the price? Just 350 yen for a croffle sandwich! 😳✨ (The photo shows a set of two croffles.)

The Earl Grey cheese whip is especially recommended 🧚.

Situated on a hill, the café offers a view of the ocean and a peaceful, tranquil atmosphere. It’s perfect for solo visits, where you can relax without any worries. Seating is limited, and many people seem to come for takeout. Note that the seating is outdoors, so it might get a bit hot during the peak summer season ☀️.

⚠️ According to Google Maps, the café’s hours are listed as open until 4:30 PM, but in reality, it closes at 4:00 PM. They might accommodate you if you arrive late and they’re still around, but it’s best to be cautious!
