There are more than 1,800 cherry trees planted at the station. They are pure Japanese and Taiwanese cherry trees. The color of the Japanese cherry blossoms is light pink, but the Taiwanese species is dark pink. The trunks are black. We will see white paint on the trunks. It is painted to prevent diseases and pests of the cherry trees.
