Located in Bavaria, Germany, Munich is famous for the beer festival Oktoberfest.
Here’s a course you can enjoy even if you arrive in Munich at noon 🎶. While it might be a bit rushed compared to spending a full day, feel free to give it a try! ✨
① Munich Residenz (Photos 2–5)
The former royal palace of the Wittelsbach dynasty of the Bavarian Kingdom, now open to the public as a museum! The opulent rooms preserved as they were and the portraits of past monarchs are truly valuable, making this a must-visit spot when in Munich 💐.
🕰️ Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
② Alte Pinakothek (Photos 5–9)
Meaning "Old Art Gallery" in German, this is one of the oldest public art museums in the world! You can view works from Germany’s medieval period to the Baroque era.
If you have time, you might also want to visit the Neue Pinakothek (New Art Gallery) located across the street 💗.
🕰️ Hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
③ Café Luitpold (Photos 10–15)
The oldest café in Munich, established in 1888. It offers a wide variety of treats, from Austrian-style Viennese pastries to dazzling French-style cakes 🍰. The signature dish is the Luitpold Torte ✨🍫.
🕰️ Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
④ Munich New Town Hall (Photos 1, 16)
A historic Neo-Gothic building serving as the city government’s headquarters, located in the heart of Munich at Marienplatz. One of its highlights is the Glockenspiel, a clock with mechanical figures that come out and dance at set times every day! ✨
Munich’s streets are beautifully illuminated at night, making the city even more stunning! Every corner is photogenic, so it’s highly recommended for those who want to visit a stylish European city.
