Must-visit in Munich! The fun and relaxing English Garden.

Here, you can take a stroll, walk your dog, play sports, cycle, row a boat, lie on the grass, drink beer, or even surf.

It's curious why Munich has an English Garden, and even more surprising, there's a Chinese Tower within it. Beneath the Chinese Tower is a beer garden, a place with seating where you can buy beer.

Sitting in the garden and drinking beer feels quintessentially German.

The garden doesn't have many flowers; it's mainly trees, grass, buildings, and lakes. Swans from the lake might wander onto the grass and walk alongside you.

Even more unexpected is that you can surf in the garden. However, during my visit, the surfing area was closed due to an accident.

While most of Munich's highlights are concentrated around Marienplatz, the English Garden is definitely worth a trip.
