If I ever go to Nagasaki, I want to visit again!
I found a shop called "Korokke" that makes me think so✨
Korokke's croquette
was super delicious🤤
"Going all the way to Nagasaki for croquettes?🤔"
I thought at first, but there is a theory that croquettes, which were introduced from the Netherlands, originated in Nagasaki
(there are also other theories such as the Hakodate theory), so it's only in Nagasaki that croquettes can be found🤓
Japanese croquettes are generally made with a lot of potatoes, but the original croquettes originated in France, which is called cream croquettes in Japan.
Korokke's croquettes are croquettes-style,
and are a very creamy dish made with potatoes in a paste form☝️
They are filling and satisfying, but you can eat them all up,
and they are different from the croquettes you usually eat😊
The inside of the store is compact overall, with
only three tables and a few counter seats.
This shop has been loved by Nagasaki residents for a long time, so you're sure to have to queue!
It's best to go when it opens, or later in the day 🎯
By the way, both the croquette lunch (800 yen) and the croquette mix (880 yen) come with five croquettes.
The mix is the best of both worlds, with 3 normal croquettes and 2 country croquettes with corn and bacon ✌️
The difference is only 80 yen, so I definitely recommend the mix ◎
And this is a really trivial story, but
I got a phone call while I was eating,
and the staff said, "Yes, it's croquettes."
I secretly found it funny 😆
