Luckily, we made a reservation for this restaurant in advance; otherwise, there would have been no seats available on-site. As expected, this is a popular local spot in Okinawa! My local friend told me that this place is a must-visit. Not only does it feature extravagant Japanese-style decor and landscaping, but it also offers a unique mountain-and-water view that is truly refreshing. Both adults and children love this place. Pair it with a northern Okinawa day trip, and dining here after your itinerary is just perfect! ✌️
The Agu Pork Shabu-Shabu set includes pork belly, loin, meat dumplings, vegetables, and soba noodles, ensuring you'll leave feeling full and satisfied. The highlight is the incredibly fresh and flavorful meat—once you try it, you'll never look back!
Here are some notes for everyone:
📍 The Wagyu Shabu-Shabu is only available for dinner and requires advance reservation.
📍 The environment here is serene, so it's recommended to wear less vibrant clothing for a more traditional aesthetic in photos.
📍 Agu Pork is a small black-haired pig rich in protein, offering a more robust and satisfying meat texture—highly recommended!
🚘 Transportation: Okinawa is not a large island, but the distance between the north and south is quite long, and good restaurants are scattered around. Public transportation (there's barely any bus service) is inconvenient. Personally, I'm not a fan of self-driving during trips (I find it tiring).
