Take a leisurely stroll along the cobblestone road leading to Shuri Castle

This is the stone pavement of Kinjo-cho that continues to Shuri Castle. (Okinawa Prefecture designated cultural property)
It is about 300m long, and is paved with Ryukyu limestone that continues to Shuri Castle. It is said to have been built during the reign of King Sho Shin (1477-1526). Part of it was lost during the war and only 300m remains, but there are old Okinawan houses on both sides, and it is a charming place. It is a slope, but you can walk comfortably.

There is a large Akagi tree on the way, which is also worth seeing, and you can feel the strength and mysticism of nature.

Recommended.
