No charter for Nan'ao Island tour, depart from Shantou High-speed Railway Station

At Shantou High-speed Railway Station, take bus 161K to the bus station, which will take you to Nan'ao Island without stopping. In addition, buses 161A and 161B can also go to Nan'ao Island. Please note that there is no 161K for the return trip, so you can take bus 161A, 161B or 105, which will end in the center of Shantou.

After arriving at the island, you can get off at the tourist center and transfer to Bus 601K, then you can take the tourist line along the coastline to Qing'ao Island, and the final stop is the Tropic of Cancer. Buses 601 and 602 are both special bus lines for traveling around the island, and can go to Treasure Island, General's Mansion, etc. There is a bus every 10 minutes.

Many tourists on the island rent bicycles or motorcycles and travel around the island freely, but I like to take a car to see the scenery.

In terms of accommodation, Qing'ao Island is better. The room I stayed in faced the sea, and I could watch the sunrise and sunset without any obstruction from the room, which was very comfortable. In fact, there are many homestays on the island, which are located in high-rise residential buildings. If you are interested, you can check them out.

In terms of diet, seafood is cheap and affordable. I eat seafood for breakfast and dinner. I really love it❤️. Seaweed fried rice, sea urchin, steamed oysters, seaweed soup, fresh shrimps, etc. are all very delicious. There are a lot of restaurants near the Tropic of Cancer, any one of them is very good. There are many restaurants in the South Australia Tourist Center, so food is not a problem.
