Udo Jingu Shrine is the only shrine in Japan built in a cave on a cliff

Udo Jingu Shrine is located on the Nichinan Coast in Miyazaki. It is the only shrine in Japan built in a cave on a cliff! The main purpose of praying here is to find love, have a safe birth, and sail safely. It is also the birthplace of the father of Emperor Jimmu, the first emperor of Japan, and has a strong mythological color.
Udo Jingu Shrine is in a unique location. As you walk down, you will see steep cliffs and a magnificent sea view! After staying there for a while, I saw the main hall hidden in the cave, which amazed me!
There is also a very interesting "Turtle Rock" in Udo Jingu Shrine. It is said that if you throw the lucky beans with a wish on them into the hole on the turtle rock on the cliff, your wish will come true. Be sure to try it when you come here, because I didn't hit it!
