Review of traveling in Japan, Osaka
A city full of smiles and happiness 💖🍡
Hello~ Today I’m going to share the story of my trip to Osaka, Japan,
a city full of charm and cuteness that makes my heart swell every time I visit. Honestly, Osaka is a city I really love because whether it’s delicious food, beautiful tourist spots, or even the lovely locals, Osaka always makes me feel warm inside.
⸻
Day 1: We’ve arrived, Osaka! Dotonbori area, the starting point of fun 🌟
When I arrived at Kansai Airport, I was super excited
because it was my first time visiting Osaka. After handling my luggage, I took the train into the city for about an hour and reached my hotel in the city center. After unpacking, I quickly headed out to explore Dotonbori right away.
The atmosphere in Dotonbori at night is full of neon lights everywhere.
No matter where you walk, it’s crowded with both Japanese locals and tourists. Especially when I saw the famous “Glico Sign,” a landmark of Osaka, I immediately grabbed my camera and took endless photos.
I have to say, Dotonbori is a paradise for food lovers!
Just walking past the takoyaki stalls, the fragrant smell of large grilled octopus pieces made my heart race, wanting to try everything. I got to try freshly made takoyaki right in front of me, crispy on the outside and soft inside, with big chunks of octopus in every bite.
Besides takoyaki, there are also grilled ramen shops, various sushi,
and plenty of snacks. Walking while eating and enjoying the view of the Dotonbori River flowing through the city made me fully feel the vibrant life of Osaka.

Day 2: Kuromon Market, Osaka’s fresh seafood hub 🦀🐟
On the second morning, I woke up early to visit Kuromon Market.
This is a large and famous fresh market in Osaka.
Inside, it’s full of stalls selling fresh seafood like shrimp, shellfish, crab, and juicy salmon. I tried fresh sushi that tasted like it came straight from the sea.
Besides sushi, there are various Japanese sweets like mochi and green tea ice cream. What amazed me the most was the stall grilling fresh squid,
which smelled so fragrant. While tasting my way around, I found some unusual snacks I had never tried before,
such as red bean-filled bread and custard-filled bread, both sweet and smooth on the tongue.
The atmosphere at Kuromon Market made me feel like I was really with the locals.
There were vendors chatting with customers and smiling brightly.
So I felt that visiting here wasn’t just sightseeing,
but also like learning about Japanese food culture.
⸻
Day 3: Shinsaibashi, the chic shopping and cute café spot 🌸🛍️
On the third day, I took it easy by strolling around Shinsaibashi,
the largest shopping area in Osaka. Everywhere I walked, there were clothing stores, cosmetics shops, and lots of cute souvenirs.
Besides shopping, I also stopped by a cute café decorated in a modern Japanese style,
offering green tea, sweets, and beautifully crafted cakes.
It made my relaxation time super happy. I ordered green tea sweets and a hot latte to sip while taking photos of the adorable café atmosphere.
This place isn’t just for shopping but also a great spot to recharge and add little happiness to your day off. Anyone who loves photography must not miss it,
because there are plenty of beautiful photo spots!
⸻
Day 4: Universal Studios Japan, a dream world come true 🎢✨
The most fun day of the trip was visiting Universal Studios Japan,
a large amusement park with themed zones from famous movies and cartoons.
I loved the Harry Potter zone the most. It’s incredibly realistic,
like stepping into the magical world itself, with Hogwarts Castle, the wizarding shops, and fun rides that made my heart race.
There were also zones for Minions, Spider-Man, Jurassic Park,
and the super cute Mario zone. The rides were thrilling and exciting, making me play all day until my hands were sticky with sugar and my heart was overflowing with happiness.
⸻
Day 5: Osaka Castle, with its grandeur and breathtaking panoramic views 🏯🌸
Today, I planned to visit Osaka Castle, which has a long history and is an important symbol of the city.
The surroundings of the castle are full of large trees and beautiful gardens, especially during cherry blossom season when the trees are in full bloom, looking like a dream.
I climbed to the top of the castle to see the view of the entire city of Osaka,
seeing the river and tall buildings lined up beautifully.
At that moment, I felt both excited and peaceful at the same time.
Inside the castle, there is also a museum telling stories about samurai and Japanese history, making me feel that this trip was not only fun
but also educational and culturally enriching.
⸻
Day 6: Cat café in Nakazakicho, filling the heart with cuteness 🐱💕
On the last day before leaving, I chose to relax at a cat café in Nakazakicho.
This place is a great refuge for the heart, with fluffy cute cats
that come to greet and play without any hesitation.
I ordered hot green tea and soft mochi cake while playing with the cats.
It felt like the cats’ cuteness fully filled my happiness for this holiday.
The café atmosphere was quiet and warm, perfect for anyone who wants to recharge and relax comfortably.
