🧳 First time in Osaka… my heart is melting 🍡🧸
If I had to talk about a city that made me smile from the moment I stepped off the train,
“Osaka” definitely tops my list.
This city has a natural brightness without any need for embellishment, a lively vibe without chaos,
and delicious food that makes you beg for more several times! 😍🍙
This trip was all about exploring Osaka without rushing,
but focusing on “absorbing” the charm of this city to the fullest 🌤️
⸻
📍 Starting from Namba and Shinsaibashi…
a happy place for shoppers 💸🎀
If you love shopping, you can’t miss “Shinsaibashi-suji”!
This is a shopping street filled with cute stores from one end to the other,
ranging from super kawaii Japanese brands to famous global brands.
We bought a pastel pink bag from a store inside Takashimaya department store,
and even found a shoe store with huge discounts!!
There’s also so much food to try, you can walk and eat all day without feeling guilty 😝
⸻
🎏 Dotonbori… the Glico sign is more than just a photo spot 🦑🍢
Missing this place is a big mistake. Dotonbori is the heart of Osaka.
With neon signs, rows of restaurants,
and the aroma of takoyaki wafting from afar.
We stopped by a small takoyaki shop in this area, and the taste was amazing.
Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and the squid was so bouncy I wanted to eat 10 more boxes! 🐙
Then we held green tea ice cream while strolling along the canal lights,
the atmosphere felt like a scene from an anime 🌃
⸻
🏯 Osaka Castle… time travel in the city center 🌸
Switching the vibe from the city’s buzz to the calm and gentle “Osaka Castle.”
This landmark is both beautiful and valuable,
with white and gold buildings contrasting the green surrounding gardens.
We took photos here in the morning when it was still quiet, the sky was clear, and the view was postcard-perfect.
Inside the castle is a museum telling the story of the samurai era.
It’s enjoyable to walk through while admiring the city view from the top floor of the castle. It’s wonderful~ 🥹
⸻
🐧 Kaiyukan Aquarium that makes you smile nonstop 🐠💙
This place is so cute you don’t want to leave!
Kaiyukan is a large and diverse aquarium.
We were amazed from the first zone, an underwater tunnel,
feeling like we were walking in a world of big and small fish 🐟✨
The highlight is the giant “whale shark”! Passing by it made my heart race.
There are also penguins, sea otters, jellyfish, and many more.
The jellyfish zone feels like a dream, sparkling in slow motion 💫
⸻
🧁 Super cute cafes… can’t stop taking photos 📸🍰
Osaka is a paradise for cafe lovers!
We stopped by a place called “Cafe no.” which is minimally decorated but sweetly charming.
We ordered peach soda and strawberry cake, a perfect match 🍓
Another recommended spot is “Pompompurin Cafe.”
Sanrio fans will scream for joy because everything is decorated with the cute little dog.
Even the curry rice is made to look like Pompompurin! 🍛💛
⸻
🎢 USJ is not enough for one day! A world of imagination you can touch 🌍🪄
The most special day of the trip was at Universal Studios Japan.
It made us feel like characters in a fantasy world.
Entering the Harry Potter zone brought tears to my eyes.
The atmosphere felt like being in Hogwarts for real.
The Three Broomsticks, Honeydukes candy shop, and magical sounds floating in the air 🧙♀️
Super Nintendo World is full of vibrant colors!
We hit boxes, cleared levels, and walked around feeling like tiny Mario.
Tiring but so much fun, I didn’t want to leave 🍄🎮
⸻
🧸 So many souvenirs, almost can’t carry them all 🎁
Before leaving, we strolled around Umeda and Namba a bit more.
There are so many souvenir shops here, from snacks, keychains, character mugs,
to little trinkets that make you say “I have to get this too!”
We bought adorable frozen melon bread.
Back in Thailand, we warmed it up and it reminded us of Osaka 🍞💖
⸻
🌇 Goodbye Osaka… see you again soon 🎈
On the train back to the airport, my heart felt fluttery in a way I can’t explain,
like saying goodbye to a close friend I just got to know.
Osaka taught me that some happiness… doesn’t need chasing.
Just walking slowly, eating delicious snacks, and smiling at the things around you is enough 🥺
⸻
Osaka isn’t a big, fancy city,
but it’s full of good feelings,
and I know for sure… next time, I’ll definitely come back 💕🇯🇵
