It’s not just fun, it’s super Christmas vibes, girl!

Hey, we just got back from Osaka and went to Universal without any plan at all. We just thought we wanted to see Super Nintendo World and Harry Potter, but it turned out to be… Disney magic x Japanese Christmas with way better vibes than expected!!

🎄 December atmosphere
• The weather is really nice and cold, about 8-12°C. Wearing a coat all day is comfortable and not tiring.
• The whole park is decorated with full Christmas lights 🎇 The giant Christmas tree in the Hollywood zone is stunning.
• Christmas songs are playing all over the park, giving that Western movie vibe 🎶❄️

🍄 Super Nintendo World – Mario’s world that’s not just a toy

I gotta say this zone is “beyond just long lines, but totally worth it!!”
• You have to book a queue through the app in advance, or you can’t get in.
• Once inside, it feels like you’ve really entered the Mario game. Everything moves, and the sound effects are like playing on a Super Famicom as a kid.
• The Mario Kart AR ride is super fun. You wear AR glasses and race against Bowser. It’s seriously thrilling.

We also bought the Power-Up Band (like a wristband to tap and collect coins). It gave us full-on kid vibes, haha.

🧙♂️ The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
• Cold weather and Hogwarts castle go so well together, girl!
• Hot Butterbeer is amazing, especially when you drink it in the chilly wind. It’s so soothing.
• When the Hogwarts Express train passed by and fake snow was falling (even if it’s fake), it broke my heart. I just wanted to move here right away!

🎠 Other rides that impressed us
• The Flying Dinosaur – the scariest ride I’ve ever been on, shaking so much it felt like life flashed before my eyes three times.
• Hollywood Dream – The Ride at night with lights is beautiful & super thrilling.
• Minion Park is fully Christmas-themed. Many Japanese people dressed up in Minion costumes. So cute!

🛍️ Food & souvenirs
• There are lots of Christmas snacks, like Santa-themed popcorn and Daruma-shaped cookies.
• We bought a lot of Harry + Mario themed souvenir sets. The designs are special for the festival, so shopping was super fun.

📌 Tips for going in December:
• Prepare good warm clothes because it gets windy in the evening.
• If you have some budget, I recommend buying an Express Pass because the lines are several hours long, especially for Mario and Harry.
• Go early in the morning and stay until night because the Christmas lights in the evening are stunning and not to be missed.

USJ in December = fun + Christmas + cute cold weather
It’s not just an amusement park, it’s a fantasy world you can really step into.

If you’re planning to go to Osaka at the end of the year, I’m telling you, you have to put USJ on your list without hesitation.
Because it’s not just fun, it’s that “feel-good” vibe you can’t easily find anywhere else 🎄❤️✨
