Ukimido

I went to Ukimido in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture ((((((っ･ω･)っ

It is a floating temple on Lake Biwa, and the contrast between the temple and the lake is spectacular✿ﾟ❀.(*´▽`*)❀.ﾟ✿

It is famous for "#Katata no Rakugan", one of the Eight Views of Omi, and has been loved by many people, including Matsuo Basho (ˊo̴̶̷̤ ̫ o̴̶̷̤ˋ)♡

The Kannon Hall on the temple grounds houses a seated statue of the Holy Kannon Bodhisattva, an important cultural property d(＞∀＜)b
