Worship at 'Phra That Si Chom Thong' in Phayao during the Yi Peng Festival

#VisitSecondaryCities Wat Phra That Chom Thong, located in Ban Tom Subdistrict, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province, is considered a sacred site in the city and an important temple enshrining the "Phra That Chom Thong," the sacred relic for those born in the year of the Rat.

The Yi Peng festival is approaching, and the surrounding area is decorated with Northern-style lanterns, also known as Lanna lanterns, in a variety of colors.

In front of the temple, there's a local market selling silk products, including silk dresses, blouses, and skirts.
