Phra Mongkhon Bophit Wihan is located south of Wat Phra Si Sanphet.

🎈Phra Mongkhon Bophit, a Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, 9.55 meters wide and 12.45 meters high, is one of the largest Buddha statues in Thailand. It is believed to have been built in the early Ayutthaya period, between 1991-2146.
🎈Currently, the Buddha statue is under renovation in February 2024, which will take approximately 20 months to complete.
