Visit the old capital and pay homage to Phra Mongkhon Bophit

#VisitAyutthaya
🛕🛕 When visiting the ancient city of Ayutthaya, you must not miss stopping to pay homage at the Phra Mongkhon Bophit Temple, located in Tambon Pratu Chai, Mueang District. It is part of the Ayutthaya Historical Park and is located south of Wat Phra Si Sanphet. Therefore, it is a resting point and a place to take a look at the Phra Mongkhon Bophit statue before going to see the old city of Wat Phra Si Sanphet.
🧘🧘 Phra Mongkhon Bophit is a bronze Buddha statue, covered in lacquer and gold leaf. The inner core is made of brick and is 12.5 meters high. It was originally enshrined outdoors. Later, it was invited to be enshrined in the temple.
🛕🛕 The temple we see now is not the original temple but has been renovated, so it is in its current condition. There is only one temple. The entrance leads straight to the door. You can see it from the entrance.
🛵🐘If we walk out to the front, we will sometimes see elephants walking by. There are also tourists on elephants because there is an elephant camp nearby.
📌📌 There is no entrance fee to visit the temple. But if you want to enter the old city zone of Wat Phra Si Sanphet, you must show your park ticket.
