🏯 Ayutthaya 1-Day Trip Plan
Morning
Depart from Bangkok → Ayutthaya (approximately 1.5 hours)

Start at Wat Mahathat, the highlight of which is the Buddha head encased in tree roots.
Next, visit Wat Ratchaburana, nearby, to admire the ancient pagoda.

Noon-Noon
Stop at a charming cafe such as
Busaba Cafe (a modern cafe with views of the old temple).

Have lunch at a popular restaurant, such as Mae Pranom's Roti Sai Mai (a souvenir) or Pa Lek's Boat Noodles.

Afternoon
Continue to Wat Chaiwatthanaram, the symbol of Ayutthaya, for beautiful photos. Stop by Wat Phutthaisawan, a temple of worship and an ancient ubosot.

If you have time, stop by the Ayutthaya Floating Market for a stroll and sample local snacks and delicacies.

Evening
Finish your trip with a boat ride to watch the sunset on the Chao Phraya River. Or, if you prefer a riverside dinner, we recommend Baan Mai Rim Nam, a Thai restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere.

Return to Bangkok.
