“If you think museum trips are boring… Visit Port Arthur, and your perspective will change forever!”

⭐️ This trip felt like stepping into a period drama! Walking among 19th-century buildings and hearing stories about English convicts sent here was more intense than any prison break series.

We went with a group of five friends and arrived just 30 minutes before the ticket counter closed. It was thrilling, rushed, and a bit spooky—especially the solitary confinement area. They have simulated prisoner sounds, making you feel like someone is actually there. It’s spine-chilling because this is the real site, not a replica, just well-preserved to withstand time.

The surrounding area is stunning, perfect for photography with amazing lighting 🌅. Honestly, you could spend the whole day here, but we arrived late and had to rush through 🤣.

Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Tasmania. For an even spookier and more immersive experience, book the nighttime “Ghost Tour” in advance. Just the name gives you chills—perfect for thrill-seekers!
