Entering Chimelong's "Forest Kingdom" in Qingyuan, I expected to encounter an ordinary zoo, but instead was greeted by a vivid enlightenment about nature.

Most moving was witnessing a miniature version of the "Great African Migration" in the "Giraffe Savanna." The clatter of zebras and wildebeest hooves pounded the earth. Even if I couldn't experience the grandeur of Africa, the sight of these galloping beasts in this tiny space was enough to awaken a reverence for pristine nature. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't favorable, and a sudden downpour washed away the imagined rolling sands, transforming them into a leisurely stroll. This was a unique, slightly poetic regret.

Boatboarding a vintage steam train, we felt as if we had traveled to the African savannah. In the even-numbered rows, on the left, giraffes leaned gracefully, elephants paced steadily, and time seemed to slow and flow.

After returning, I reflected that this place was just the right size for children: enough to spark their curiosity about nature without exhausting their energy. A friend suggested that the long journey might not be worthwhile just for this one park. But I thought, if I viewed it as a puzzle—placing it with the hot springs, the hotel, and the sacred tree park—it would create a rich, pop-up getaway.
