Reims, a charming little town

Reims, a small city in northeastern France, is the gateway to the region of Bertagne. It is a small and peaceful city with old architecture remaining. The highlight is the half-timbered houses. It is also the birthplace of champagne, a drink used to celebrate victory.
Cathedral Notre Dame de Reims, an important Gothic cathedral, is the site of the coronation of many French kings.
Parc de la Montage, a large and beautiful public park.
Getting there: From Paris by TGV train, it takes about 2 hours.
