Hong Kong's First Coastal Park

Starting from the center of Sai Kung, take a shuttle bus into the Sai Kung Country Park controlled area. From there, walk along the coastal path for another 10 minutes to reach Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park, operated by WWF. The park covers an area of 260 hectares. This bay has the highest concentration of coral reefs in Hong Kong, home to over 60 species of coral and 120 species of fish, making it incredibly diverse in marine life. Near the shore, there is an exhibition center that introduces marine life, and you can also view underwater creatures from a glass-bottom boat. On holidays, many people come to this bay for snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. It is a great place to bring children to learn about the ocean.
