Leningrad puff pastries are a cultural heritage of St. Petersburg. I'm trying them at Pyshechka.

St. Petersburg pimps are a special dish with a simple recipe (deep-fried yeast dough). Served with a delicious dusting of powdered sugar, they're still associated with Soviet catering, which is why all local pimps houses are decorated in a 20th-century style. 🍬

They're best washed down with coffee with milk or black tea. Besides the snow-white powder, they're also served with condensed milk or jam. ✨

I stopped in to try some pimps at "Pyshechka" by Ginza Project. The price was reasonable (32 rubles each), and the service was lightning fast. ⚡ Delicious, golden-brown, and hot – a taste of childhood for many Russians! I took some with me, which is why they're in a bag in the photo. 😀

📍Write down the address: Gorokhovaya St., 16/71. The famous Red Bridge is nearby.
