The menu offers a wide selection, including sashimi, hand rolls, appetizers, nigiri sushi, hot/cold donburi, grilled items, fried items, skewers, and drinks.

The sashimi is served in sets of 5 slices, which is a good deal. Today we had salmon, tuna, angel shrimp, and scallops (no sea bream). The sashimi slices are 2-3 times thicker than usual, so I suggest not ordering too much.

One serving of seared nigiri contains 2 pieces. If there are 4 people dining, you can only have 2 pieces of each item at a time, with a maximum of 20 pieces per serving 😱. I recommend ordering the sashimi platter, which has 3 slices and 3 nigiri pieces, which is more satisfying. The seared salmon and scallops were both good, and the salmon roe was also delicious with a slightly sweet seasoning. However, the vinegared rice here is a bit hard!

The Japanese oysters are among the easily overlooked side dishes, but they were very fresh and delicious, so don't miss them!

The meal is served with a standard five-spice sauce; you can ask for lemon to add it.

Other hot dishes include stir-fried water lily, crispy angel hair shrimp, fried pork cutlet, Japanese fried chicken, Hokkaido croquettes, grilled sweetfish, grilled angel hair shrimp, crispy pork intestines, mentaiko yam, salt-grilled Matsusaka pork, braised squid, braised king oyster mushrooms, braised diced beef, mentaiko chicken leg, steamed egg, and fried mochi skewers.

They served about six orders in total, as there were many customers ahead of us.

It took about 40 minutes before they started serving the second order. Fortunately, the service speed improved later, and since half of us have small appetites, we were still about 60% full.

I highly recommend the crispy angel hair shrimp, grilled sweetfish, grilled angel hair shrimp, mentaiko yam, salt-grilled Matsusaka pork, braised squid, and mentaiko chicken leg; I thought all of these were delicious. The restaurant also offers salmon miso soup, which contains a lot of salmon!

Finally, we had fried mochi skewers for dessert ❤️
Overall, the taste was pretty good, but the ordering was inflexible.
If you have a large group, I recommend making separate reservations.
They're quite generous, offering sake and beer 🍻 Some of the hot dishes are large enough for 3-4 people, so be careful if you have a small appetite! There's a penalty for leaving food uneaten 👍

We sat at the innermost table for 8 people, and the staff was cleaning up right then.
One table had more than 6 pieces of nigiri sushi left over, which were thrown away. Luckily, they had a penalty!
