Located on the outskirts of Sapporo, this is one of Japan's largest park-style cemeteries. Designed by Tadao Ando, the site features the serene "Hill of the Buddha" surrounded by lavender fields, 36 Moai statues, and a replica of Stonehenge, creating an outdoor sculpture garden-like atmosphere. It's a mysterious place where tranquility and an extraordinary experience coexist amidst nature that changes with the seasons.
