When I was a university student, I had nowhere to go in Sapporo, and a taxi driver recommended Makomanai Takino Cemetery to me.

At that time, I remember there was only a Moai statue, and it wasn't a tourist spot, so I remember thinking, "Why would there be a Moai statue in a place like this?"

I never thought that Tadao Ando would create such an amazing building. Stonehenge was also built 😂

In summer, it is surrounded by lavender fields and apparently there is a pond. In winter, it was very beautiful to see it standing in the snow.
