ORCHID GOURMET: A cafe overlooking Changdeokgung Palace in Seoul

Changdeokgung Palace, Seoul's royal palace, is lush with nature and boasts stunning autumn foliage, making it the perfect place for autumn.

If you're tired from walking around the vast palace, be sure to stop by ORCHID GOURMET.

There used to be a cafe called Jukukakigung, but I was sad to see it close, so I'm happy to see it's been renovated.

The windows are all glass, offering a panoramic view of the palace and a wonderful way to spend your cafe time.

The shop had baked a Basque cheesecake, so I ordered one.

It's delicious, and I'm glad it's the perfect size for one person! They also serve sandwiches and salads.

The interior has a relaxing, green feel, making it a great place to unwind.

Take the left side of the Daehanmun Gate (under construction), the main gate of Changdeokgung Palace, and walk along the stone wall. You'll see a four-story gray brick building on your left. It's on the second floor.
