[Seoul] Seoul Walk ♪ Touring OreKage in Seoul

Hello everyone! 🙌
I'm Atchan, a fan of Korean food and city walking.

Have you heard of Seoul's "OreKage"?

Started in 2017, this project recognizes businesses in Seoul with a history and tradition of over 30 years and the hope of continuing to exist for many years to come.

In other words, they are "long-established" businesses certified by the city.

There are so many OreKage stores that I can't possibly see them all, so I'll introduce my three favorites. ✨

① Gurupo Bookstore (pics 1-6)
Founded in 1979, this bookstore has a toy-like, adorable exterior. ♡ 📗
🏠 150-7 Seongsan-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul
🕰️ 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM

② Kemi Supermarket (pics 7-9)
Established in the 1900s (details unknown), this supermarket boasts over 100 years of history.
🏠 39 Seogye-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
🕰️ Unknown

③ Hanshin Ongi (pic 10-12)
A long-established ongi (pottery) shop founded in 1967.
The rows of ongi in front of the store give it a Korean feel.🇰🇷
This area is also close to Haebangchon and the hot place Sinungsijang (New Market), making it a great place for a stroll.
🏠 5-1612 Yongsan-dong 2-ga, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
🕰️ 11:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Closed Sundays

Autumn is not only a great season for food, but also for strolling.🍁 So, why not take a stroll and enjoy the pleasant breeze?🫶
