Day 1️⃣: Arrival in Lijiang

Day 2️⃣: Lijiang – Shangri-La – Biro Grand Canyon – Wengshui Village
Drive to Shangri-La and trek through the stunning Biro Grand Canyon (approx. 6KM). Arrive at the picturesque Wengshui Village and experience the beauty of the highlands.
Day 3️⃣: Wengshui Village – Panian Lake – Genian Lake – Strip Pasture – Bira Lake – Wengshui Village – Wudi Lake
After breakfast, take a local transfer vehicle for about an hour to Panian Lake. Then trek downhill, arriving back at Wengshui Village around 2 PM. Conquer Panian Lake and Genian Lake, stroll through the Strip Pasture, explore Bira Lake, and finally reach the mysterious Wudi Lake to marvel at the charm of highland lakes.
Day 4️⃣: Wudi Lake Trek – Fairy Lake Trek – Afternoon Tea at Wudi Lake – Shangri-La

Attraction Highlights:
1️⃣ Biro Grand Canyon:
Also known as Birong Canyon or Shangri-La Canyon, this stunning gorge is located at the foot of Xiaoxue Mountain in Gezan Township, Shangri-La County, Yunnan Province. The canyon is deep and narrow, with the widest part measuring about 80 meters and the narrowest only 10 meters. The Upper Village River flows through the gorge, which has been carved to a depth of 1000–2000 meters. The cliffs on both sides feature ancient rock paintings left by migrating tribes.
1️⃣ Wengshui Village's Three Lakes:
"Panian Lake," "Bira Lake," and "Genian Lake" are accessible by road and are located within 27 kilometers of Wengshui Village Committee. These lakes are spaced 300–3000 meters apart, with elevation differences of 200–400 meters. Gentle breezes create calm waters, and between "Bira Lake" and "Genian Lake" lies a long strip pasture where 400–500 yaks often graze during summer and autumn, forming a picturesque scene. These lakes are home to wild birds such as ruddy shelducks, yellow ducks, bar-headed geese, and black-necked cranes, while the nearby forests host red-breasted pheasants, white-bellied golden pheasants, and Tibetan snowcocks.

Nestled in the heart of Dilong Snow Mountain, this secluded highland lake is accessible via a mining road. Its pristine beauty remains largely undiscovered.
