My Weekend Escape: Soaking Up Nature at Hongqiao Park! 🌳☀️

I just spent another amazing weekend getting my dose of fresh air at Hongqiao Park near Shenzhen, and wow, it's seriously fun!

The park is simply beautiful. The lush, green trees and the dappled shadows they cast create such a peaceful atmosphere, especially with the vibrant red of the bridge contrasting against it all. It's awesome that you can set up tents anywhere on the grass, and just spread out your camping table and chairs wherever you like.

The bridge itself has several points where you can easily go down to explore different areas. I made sure to head to the tower top around 5:30 PM to catch the sunset – it was absolutely breathtaking!

Beyond just relaxing, there's so much to do here. There's a dedicated cycling area, a miniature train, a track for remote-control cars, and even a massive golf course! Once it gets dark, the lights come on, giving the park a completely different, charming vibe.

It's truly a fantastic spot for a weekend getaway from Shenzhen!

Location: Hongqiao Park, Guangming District, Shenzhen.

Entrance: About 100 meters north of the intersection of Chalin Road and Guangqiao Road.

Parking: Available at the North Gate or the government parking lot directly across.
