I recently discovered an amazing kid-friendly hotel in Shenzhen. It not only features immersive family-friendly rooms, a beach pool, and a carousel, but also a massive family-friendly restaurant. The rides are comparable to those at famous theme parks, and the facilities and food are both exceptional! 💯 You might be surprised to learn it's the familiar InterContinental Hotel OCT!

Over the past two years, the hotel has significantly upgraded its family-friendly amenities. For example, the whimsical Utopia Family Suite we stayed in wasn't just about changing the bedding and adding a small slide. The room actually had an octopus-shaped crib, which you could climb onto and slide down. The kids had a blast, excitedly asking to be "Dr. Skin," and they were absolutely delighted. From the walls to the bar, the theme is ocean-themed, and there's even a large slide on the outdoor terrace! 🛝 The immersive atmosphere even surpasses that of a theme park family room. Let's talk about the hotel's quirky utopia, which combines a family restaurant and a kids' club. It features a wide variety of high-end rides, staff members to entertain children, and a variety of hands-on activities every day. The restaurant's food 🍔 is prepared by the hotel's chef and is far superior to those found in shopping malls. If you get tired of playing indoors, you can head to the outdoor playground for some extra relaxation, where the ocean-inspired carousel 🎠 is particularly popular!

Many mothers will be familiar with the hotel's public areas. Don't miss the signature pirate ship beach pool 🏖️, which is both fun for children and photogenic. Next door is the heated indoor pool and a large, warm soaking tub, which is incredibly relaxing.

Their Western restaurant is also a favorite of mine. We booked an all-inclusive family room package, which included all-you-can-eat snacks and drinks throughout the day, including a variety of delicious drinks and my favorite ice cream cones 🍦. The buffet dinner and breakfast are equally sumptuous, and the spacious views and retro decor create a truly captivating atmosphere.
