Shenzhen | The Ritz-Carlton, Galaxy: A perfect balance of business and leisure.

I highly recommend this Ritz-Carlton hotel! Its location is unbeatable, situated in Futian District, right across from the Convention and Exhibition Center. Just a few steps across the street and you'll find yourself at the fantastic shopping destination, Huangting Plaza.

The subway station is also super close, making transportation incredibly convenient. Huangting Plaza isn't just great for shopping; it offers a wide variety of dining options too. Whether you're craving Hong Kong-style cuisine, Sichuan dishes, Shanxi flavors, or Thai food, the choices are so abundant that you might find yourself overwhelmed!

Although the lobby feels a bit small upon entering, the rooms are definitely a highlight. They're incredibly spacious, featuring a desk and two large sofas, making your stay extremely comfortable. The in-room Wi-Fi requires a password to connect, which feels both secure and convenient.

My favorite part is the huge, bright bathroom with excellent views! From the room's window, you can see the pool, and further out, the skyline filled with towering buildings, including the striking Ping An Tower under construction.

The nighttime view is even more stunning, with every building lit up, creating a dreamy atmosphere. The TV offers a wide selection of channels, and there's complimentary bottled water provided daily.

That said, the hotel isn't without its flaws. The outdoor pool is a bit shallow, which might not be ideal for adults looking to swim. Additionally, the mattress felt a bit too soft for my liking, though that might just be a personal preference.

Overall, despite its age, this hotel is very well-maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms, an excellent location, and impeccable service. It's incredibly convenient for both transportation and dining.
