[Yamaguchi Trip] A hideaway in the forest🌳

While traveling to Shimonoseki in Yamaguchi Prefecture, I spotted a lunch banner while driving, and was intrigued to check it out. 🥰

This homey restaurant is located in the natural surroundings of Kikugawa, Shimonoseki City. 🏠

The owner's wife, who loves to cook, prepares hearty home-cooked meals using plenty of seasonal vegetables. 🥰

The menu is extensive, and the value for money is unbeatable! ❣️

Everything is homemade, with a gentle, home-style flavor
and are incredibly delicious♡

The rice is also delicious, and the miso on top is even homemade🍚💕

Dessert and coffee are included, so all of this for just 1,000 yen is surprisingly cheap😳

The restaurant has one table (for 10 people), one 6-tatami Japanese-style room, and counter seating🪑

It might be a little hot at first? But then, a pleasant breeze came in,
I felt like I was in nature,
and it was a very comfortable place. 🙆♀️
