Between the stairs leading up to the chapel, there is a shrine to the Goddess of Mercy, Avalokiteshvara, the Great Bodhisattva of the South Sea, in various postures for worship.

On the lower part of the temple's seaside courtyard, there is a large statue of Goddess of Mercy in the posture of bestowing blessings for worship to bring good fortune to ourselves.
