Marina Barrage is the 15th dam built to block the mouth of Marina Bay in Singapore to prevent freshwater from flowing into the sea. But the top is made into a wide green lawn and is considered another landmark of Singapore that Kee thinks everyone must visit. The most recent time we visited was in the evening, walking along until we arrived here. The atmosphere is very beautiful. With the backdrop of the dam surrounded by the city view of Singapore, we can come to walk, ride bicycles, prepare things to have a picnic and chill. We also met people who came to take pre-wedding photos. 🧝♀️🦸🏼♂️👰♀️👨⚖️
Marina Barrage We can still see the Marina Bay Sands building and Gardens By The Bay in full view. If anyone comes to walk around here, I recommend staying until almost dusk. Let me tell you that from this point, we can stay and watch the sunset very beautifully. But the view of the city will be backlit. 🌆🌇🌅 Super romantic But unfortunately, I didn't stay until the evening because I had to go to the next spot.
For those who want to come and chill here, but Marina Barrage is quite far from the MRT station, the closest place is Bayfront Station. Exit at Garden by the Bay and walk through the park to the walkway along the bay. Walk straight for about 600 meters and you will see it immediately. 🚌🚞🚄
Opening-closing hours: Open every day, all the time. The Singapore Water Management Museum is open from 9:00-21:00.
