Day 1: Searching for Memories in the River of Time
Our journey begins at the National Museum of Singapore, a building with a rich history that is itself a work of art. Stepping into the exhibition hall, images and exhibits narrate Singapore’s history from the colonial era to the modern day. Immersed in the carefully arranged interactive displays, we feel as if we are transported back in time, experiencing how this city has been revitalized through the changes of the ages. The multimedia films in the themed exhibition halls, which present history visually, are especially impressive. In the afternoon, we walk to the nearby Fort Canning Park, strolling through shaded paths to explore this oasis that carries both culture and nature, perfectly concluding a day of historical exploration.
Day 2: The Collision of Technology and Art
On the morning of the second day, we visit the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, admiring this landmark that blends creativity with architectural aesthetics. From the exterior “durian shell” design to the interior theater spaces, every corner exudes an artistic atmosphere. Afterwards, we stroll to the Singapore River waterfront, feeling the vibrancy and tranquility of this area that was once the commercial heart. Enjoying local cuisine at a riverside café while listening to the water lapping against the shore, the past and future of this city converge at this moment, bringing us endless inspiration and emotion.
