When flying economy with Singapore Airlines or Star Alliance,

if you have Star Alliance Gold or KrisFlyer Elite Gold status, you can use

the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

This time, I used the lounge at Terminal 2, so I’ll share my experience.

[Entry Requirements]

Unlike the SilverKris Lounge for business class passengers, this lounge is exclusively for elite members flying economy or premium economy.

Specifically, the following people are eligible:
📍 KrisFlyer Elite Gold members
📍 Star Alliance Gold members (such as ANA SFC)
*You must be flying on the same day with a Star Alliance member airline.

[Hours, Location, and Access]

📍 Hours: Open 24 hours
📍 Location: Changi Airport Terminal 2,
Departure area, 3rd floor
📍 Access: After passing through immigration, follow the "Lounges" signs toward Gate E.
It’s right there after going up the escalator.

[Facilities and Services Inside the Lounge]

The lounge is somewhat compact but has a calm atmosphere. The facilities and offerings include:

📍 Light meals & hot dishes: There were Singapore-style dishes (chicken rice-style rice, stir-fried items, etc.). Of course, bread and fruit are also available.

📍 Drinks: Coffee machine, tea, soft drinks, and alcohol were available.

📍 Wi-Fi: High-speed and stable, suitable for work or watching videos.
📍 Power outlets: Available near seats. USB ports are also usable.
📍 Showers: There are no showers in the Terminal 2 KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.
Also, note that there are no restrooms inside!

[Tips for Spending Time]

It’s not flashy, but it’s a perfect space to quietly relax before early morning or late-night flights.

You can nibble on light snacks, get some work done on Wi-Fi, charge your phone, and enjoy a “quiet preparation time” before departure.
