Indonesia Military Museum is truly a niche attraction, rarely visited even by locals. During my visit, I only saw three or four locals. If you are interested in military history, consider taking the rapid transit bus to this place.
The entrance fee is extremely cheap, only 5,000 Indonesian Rupiah, which is less than 2.5 RMB.
🌟 Highlights:
It mainly showcases the struggle history of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, including resistance against Dutch occupation in the 1940s.
The original site belonged to Ratna Sari Dewi Soekarno, the wife of Indonesia’s former president Sukarno 🇮🇩, which explains why it looks like an estate with a serene environment.
The museum primarily houses various historical artifacts related to the Indonesian National Armed Forces. Wikipedia lists more military collections, but in reality, many of those items were not seen there.
Notable exhibits include a Douglas A4-E attack aircraft, a torpedo boat, and a Douglas DC3.
