Tainan-Shuijiaoshe's creative American-style Vietnamese Pho: Honggonggong Vietnamese Pho

Later, it moved to Shuijiaoshe Road opposite Jia Qi Girls’ High School. The store is bigger and the business is even more popular!

It’s advertised as #American-style Vietnamese Pho, and the difference between it and traditional Vietnamese Pho is probably that the essence remains the same, but with some more American creativity. The restaurant has a more diverse selection of ingredients and more fancy plating, and is very popular among young people. From 4 pm to 11 pm, there is always a constant crowd of people.

I tried several flavors and three types of rice noodles in soup: spicy and sour raw beef with coconut flavor, raw beef with coconut milk, and curry pork trotters. The average price of rice noodles is $200, but the portion is very large. The spicy and sour coconut soup is very strong and you can't help but have one mouthful after another. It goes well with the smooth rice noodles. Spices such as basil and lemongrass also enhance the flavor.

The beef is medium-rare, tender and has a more flavorful taste when dipped in the broth. The portion of lemongrass pork trotters is quite large, so you can just put it in a separate plate. It is braised and delicious. The lemongrass chicken ordered by the table next to us was also fried in a big piece. I’ll try it next time.

In addition, I also took away a Vietnamese dry rice noodle, which was mixed with raw beef in a sweet and sour and spicy sauce, and had a rice noodle texture similar to rice noodles. It was very refreshing and cool, and very suitable for summer consumption. The cold dishes are also good.
