Chihkan Tower exudes solemnity during the day, but at night, it takes on a softer charm. Lights spill from beneath the red eaves, illuminating the courtyard steeped in ancient ambiance. Stone lions stand silently at the entrance, as if guarding the soul of this cultural treasure. From a higher vantage point, the neon lights of the city intertwine with the warm glow of the ancient tower, creating a poetic blend of eras.
As I tread lightly on the stone-paved path, it feels as though I can hear whispers of history—the soldiers of Koxinga, the scholars of the Qing Dynasty, the townsfolk praying for rain... Every echo is captured by the tower and preserved through time. Chihkan Tower is not a cold, lifeless relic; it is a living story. As I leave, moonlight falls upon the red walls like a seal, preserving the memory of this night.
