During my Taiwan trip, I had the chance to explore the Beitou Hot Spring Museum, a beautifully preserved piece of history. The building, originally a public bathhouse during the Japanese colonial era, showcases the rich hot spring culture of Beitou. From the wooden architecture to the vintage tiles, every corner tells a story of the past. Walking through the museum felt like traveling back in time, learning how people once enjoyed these therapeutic waters.
The second floor features an exhibition on Beitou’s history, with old photographs, artifacts, and even a replica of a traditional hot spring bath. It was fascinating to see how the hot springs shaped the local culture and tourism industry. Whether you love history or just want to appreciate the beauty of old Taiwan, this museum is a must-visit!
