During my Taipei trip, I stumbled upon a unique gem—Heart Village in Beitou. It felt like walking through a portal into the past. This old military family village is full of stories. The moment I passed through the white archway, I could feel the quiet charm of this historical space.

Inside, you can explore real-life military dorms and homes, kept just the way they were decades ago. There were simple bedrooms, woven blankets, old radios, and children’s toys. Everything felt so raw and nostalgic. It’s peaceful, educational, and deeply touching at the same time.
