The Taiwan International Balloon Festival is entering its 15th year, becoming a symbol of Taitung and one of the most grand and representative events of the summer vacation.
Each year, the balloon festival brings innovative ideas and challenges possibilities. The light sculpture music concert, drone and fireworks shows have become essential highlights of the event. Additionally, over 20 uniquely designed hot air balloons from around the world are invited annually for exhibitions.
This year, the 2025 Taiwan International Balloon Festival welcomes a special addition from the 22nd century—the Doraemon balloon! The adorable Doraemon balloon will lead the way, accompanying you on the most exciting hot air balloon journey!
