Have you ever seen a hot air balloon at night?
Every July and August, Taitung hosts the annual International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. A variety of hot air balloons of varying shapes are displayed and tethered at Luye Highland. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, and the event features the first collaboration with the incredibly popular Doraemon character. The hot air balloon event's most popular attraction is the Hot Air Balloon Light Sculpture Concert. Held at night on the vast grasslands of Luye Highland, dozens of flaming hot air balloons blaze to the rhythm of music, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Drone-designed patterns fill the sky, and the fireworks display creates a truly spectacular spectacle. Each light sculpture show attracts 30,000 to 40,000 people, who gather on the ground to enjoy this breathtaking visual feast!
