Shorenji Temple

Shorenji Temple, Takayama
Located on a hill near the Mikayawa morning market, it stands out with its large Sanmon gate with a large Karahafu roof, beautiful from the entrance. Upon entering, you will find a large building that looks simple and beautiful. You can walk around the temple and there are trees changing colors around the temple. The temple grounds have a wide courtyard, mostly used as a bus stop, in case you want to walk to the ancient village.
