[Tokyo/Nezu Shrine] A popular shrine with a thousand torii gates

It was founded 1,900 years ago by Emperor Yamato Takeru. The main shrine building was built in 1706 by the fifth shogun, Tokugawa Tsunayoshi.

The grounds are very spacious, and if you pass under the torii gate and walk along the approach to the shrine, you will come to the Shinkyo Bridge, the Tower Gate, the Karamon Gate, and the main shrine building.
The rows of torii gates known as "Senbon Torii" are a very popular photogenic spot.
The view from Otome Inari Shrine is also spectacular.
